Jen began her yoga journey in 2010, initially falling in love with the practice because the fluid movement and discipline is reminiscent of her previous dance experience. She continues her practice because it helps her cultivate strength and flexibility holistically. Jen credits yoga for allowing her greater focus, a heightened sense of clarity and awareness, and enabling her to heal from the inevitable strains of life.
Through continuous application and exploration of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices in her own life, Jen has found a path that helps her embody her true authenticity, allowing her to live peacefully and with as little resistance as possible. As her practice deepens, so does her desire to share this work with others.
Jennifer received her 200 hour certification with Yax Yoga Concepts. Soon after, she pursued her Subtle Body and Advanced Energetics certifications under the guidance of Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist, Diana Malaspina. As a yoga teacher, lifestyle transformation & holistic health coach, Jen's aim is to create and hold space for anyone to heal in mind, body, and spirit.
Her teaching style is geared toward being accessible and therapeutic for all levels. Building gradually, her classes incorporate guided meditation, breath work, and mindful movement. Modifications are offered, allowing each student the opportunity to find the right expression for how they feel in the moment.
